Activities Around our Scotland Holiday Lodge

There is so much to see and do around Foyers Lodge and Loch Ness. As with all Scotland Holiday Lodges, there is a spectacular scenery of the Highlands to explore. However, by the shores of Loch Ness, there are plenty of things to do from the more relaxing day trips to those seeking something more active. We have prepared some of the best activities for you that are all convenient to Foyers Lodge.

Fishing

We are privileged to hold licences to fish on Loch Ness.  If you or any of your party (up to four rods) would like to fish during your stay then please contact us beforehand in order to arrange a permit.

We do not provide rods or equipment so either bring your own or hire some.  If you would like a skippered boat, either for fishing or day tripping (or nessie spotting) then contact www.augusta.uk.com

If you would like to learn to fly fish then you can contact local ghillie Alex Sutherland, who offers expert tuition on local lochs and rivers.  01456 486711.

Cruising

If the mythical waters of the loch hold appeal for you but you are not keen on fishing. Then why not climb aboard a cruise vessel and try to spot the monster for yourself.  Trips can take in Urquhart castle and Fort Augustus.
